All singers’ are invited to learn or receive coaching on jazz vocal performance techniques at the

Women in Jazz You Sing! Vocal Performance Workshop.

 

 

Who Should Attend?

If you have a passion for singing and desire to sing in front of others, either in a private setting, at school, at church or as an idol, this workshop is for you! Men and women, boys and girl are welcome. Come prepared to sing and have a great time. Or just come to observe, take in the lessons and support the other singers.

Workshop Topics

Workshop participants and will have opportunities to sing with the James Polk Trio during each session. Participating singers are encouraged to bring lead sheets for the band, but not required.

This workshop will provide a rare opportunity vocalists of all ages should not pass up. Limited Seats are available... but hurry!

 

The workshop fee is only $45.00 ($35.00 with Official Student ID).  The registration in include:

Non-profit, tax-exempt organization that raise funds by producing concerts and workshops. The purpose of Women in Jazz Association is to perpetuate the appreciation and performance of traditional jazz vocal and instrumental music. As vocal jazz is a declining art form, this purpose is charitable -- the protection and preservation of a valuable art form called jazz; that is, vocal jazz. It is through concerts, educational workshops, and performance opportunities of singers that provide the means to the end -- perpetuate vocal jazz music.
